A Great Few Days . . .

We have just returned home from a fantastic few days away with other shopowners at Sue Daley's B&B in sunny Queensland.

Full of inspiration, learning new techniques, saving the patchwork world, eating lots of delicious food, laughing so much that we ached . . . you can't go wrong really!

We were surprised with the beautiful gift box waiting for us on arrival . . .look inside . . .are we excited or what!!
And then came this yummy plate of nibbles . . .

And a drink or two . . .

We have come away with lots of samples made for the shop, a nice big delivery on its way of all things needed for paper piecing, needleturn applique and english paper piecing and a bunch of new shop owner friends whom we can share ideas with.

Thanks to Sue, her wonderful family and staff - a fabulous weekend had by all - roll on next year!!

Now what could be better than spending time with kindred spirits, sharing yummy food, playing with fabric & coming home with lots of exciting new inspiration?? that's what i call my fave kind of weekend!!
